Xnet launches video campaign “Stop #CensorshipMachine” to defend our rights and freedom of expression, freedom to Meme and gif, to parody, to educate, to remix, to play and dance to music... against a EU copyright reform that will be dabated in one week and that proposes to force internet companies to become the Internet police and create an all mighty #CensorshipMachine.
Europe wants internet companies to filter all of your uploads. An upload filter can’t recognize your legal use of copyrighted content. And you will have no meaningful protection from unfair deletion. This needs to change: we need to save the meme! And you can be of a tremendous help!
Its members are activists with the time & will to get involved in the project. Occasionally, Xnet promotes specific projects where funding is required. When found, this funding is used to, among other things, develop tasks that are remunerated and which costs are detailed for each activity expenses.
